Just thought you would like to know how Remus is doing. Picked him up on August 18th,brought him home and gave him his first duck. He’s about 18 weeks old or so now and is doing great. He loves to retrieve and loves the water. I’ve been going to a training group lately and everyone thinks he’s going to be a great waterfowl dog. There is even a professional trainer in the group who says he’s doing great for his age. Remus catches on very quick to everything I show him. He will pick up short double retrieves and is always ready to train. I carry him to work with me and all the guys love him. He’s very laid back until he sees me getting the training bumpers out and then he’s fired up. I can’t wait for next duck season when he’s finished training. I think I got a winner. He is out of the Lady/Champ litter. Wish I could have gotten two of them.

Here is Briley’s Rocco Remus. He will be a year old tomorrow (7-3-08).He has done great with his training and absolutely loves ducks.He went 4 for 4 on his started tests. I’ll start him in “Seasoned “this fall . He will start workin on his HR title. I’ll let you know how that goes.
